Yes! You can apply the Strong Stuff as needed, up to several times a day though most customers need it in the morning to get their day going and before bedtime to sleep comfortably. Just massage a generous amount into the affected area using clean, dry hands or the included spatula.
How long does the balm last, and what’s the shelf life?
Since this is an all-natural, preservative-free balm, the shelf life depends a bit on how it's stored and how often it's opened. Unopened, it can stay fresh for up to one year when kept in a cool, dry place. Once opened, we recommend using it within six to nine months for peak potency and effectiveness. Most customers use it up well within that time, especially if applying to larger areas like the back, legs, or multiple joints.
How should I store the balm to keep it fresh and effective?
Strong Stuff is made with delicate botanicals and potent oils, so it’s best stored away from direct sunlight and heat. While it doesn’t need refrigeration, we recommend keeping it in a cool, dry place - not in your car or near a sunny windowsill. The amber glass jar helps protect the formula from light, but proper storage will help preserve the potency and extend its shelf life.
Does this need a preservative?
Nope! This is a water-free (anhydrous) formula, so no preservative is needed. Just be sure to avoid introducing water into the jar - use the included spatula or dry hands for best results and freshness.
