Infused with Frankincense and AEA-certified Emu oil, this rich, multi-use butter is a deeply restorative moisturizer for both face and body. Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) helps tone the skin, improve the appearance of scars and fine lines, and calm inflammation while Emu oil penetrates deeply to deliver essential fatty acids where they’re needed most.
Each formula is crafted with organic, unrefined ingredients that melt into the skin, providing long-lasting hydration without a greasy finish once absorbed.

✨ Note on Frankincense: Not all frankincense is created equal. We use Boswellia carterii, a high-quality resin prized for its skin-soothing, regenerating, and anti-inflammatory benefits. Unlike the more commonly used Boswellia serrata (often chosen for its lower cost and internal use), carterii is better suited for topical skincare making it ideal for supporting tone, texture, and healing. It’s a more costly option, but one we choose intentionally for its superior performance on the skin.

How to Use
Scoop a small amount and warm between fingertips until melted. Gently massage into face and/or body until absorbed. Best applied to slightly damp skin after cleansing or bathing. Use morning or night - or both.

Which one’s right for me?

Can I really use this on my face - even if it says it's for face and body?
Absolutely. This butter was intentionally formulated to be safe and effective for both face and body. While many “body” products are too heavy or pore-clogging for facial use, ours features a thoughtful blend of non-comedogenic oils and a plant-based wax (instead of beeswax) that won’t clog pores. It delivers deep nourishment while keeping your skin smooth, balanced, and breathable.
Can I really use this on my face - even though it contains citrus?
Yes! We use steam-distilled lemon essential oil, which is a gentler and safer alternative to the more common cold-pressed citrus oils. Unlike expressed lemon oil, steam-distilled lemon does not contain the compounds that make skin more sensitive to sunlight (phototoxicity). This makes it safe for use on the face, even during the day, while still offering the uplifting benefits of citrus.
What are the benefits of emu oil, and is it ethically sourced?
Emu oil is known for its ability to deeply penetrate (imitating natural human sebum) and support skin repair, making it a favorite for dry, damaged, or inflamed skin. Some customers even praise how it soothes small skin tears.
