Will this soap stain my skin because it contains turmeric?
Nope! While pure turmeric powder and raw turmeric can temporarily stain the skin (and even fabrics) when used directly, that’s not the case here. In our Turmeric + Chamomile Face Soap, we use turmeric extract, and the magic happens during the soap-making process.
Through saponification - the natural chemical reaction between oils and lye - the turmeric extract is fully transformed. Once the soap is cured, there’s no leftover pigment to stain your skin or towels. The final bar is a soft, tan color with zero orange tint and rinses away cleanly.
You’ll still get the skin-loving benefits of turmeric — like brightening, calming, and supporting a healthy glow — but without the mess or worry of staining.
